The system makes it possible to control many receivers (e.g. roof window, Venetian blinds, internal and external blinds) via a multi-channel controller (ZWPTV or ZWP10 remote control, ZWK10 or ZWG3 wall switch). By applying such a solution it is possible to achieve simultaneous control of several receivers e.g. opening 3 windows or lowering blinds in 3 windows) or only one receiver (e.g. opening one selected window).
By a single switch ZWK10 or ZWP10 remote control, it is possible to control up to 10 receivers separately or up to 231 in groups. With the use of the ZWG3 controller it is possible to control up to 3 receivers separately or up to 231 receivers in groups. The ZWPTV remote control enables control of up to 36 receivers separately or up to 231 in groups. Using the ZWPTV remote control, it is possible to control not only roof windows and accessories but also other electronic devices equipped with the Z-Wave module as well as infrared RTV equipment. The Z-Wave roof window even has a rain sensor as standard. It is also possible to connect to the system a wind strength sensor via the ZWMP weather module.
Connecting the set consists of supplying 230V AC power to Z-Wave windows with a 2 x 1mm2 double-core cable. The Z-Wave roof window is equipped with ZRD rain sensor as standard, wiring for electric accessories (ARZ Z-Wave external roller shutter, internal accessories: AJP Z-Wave, ARF Z-Wave, ARP Z-Wave). The ZWD wind sensor is connected to the ZWMP weather module with a 2x0.5mm2 cable. The quantities of the cable are supplied according to the customer’s needs. A detailed wiring diagram is described in the installation instructions for a given accessory. The ZWK10 or ZWG3 controller is attached to the wall or other flat surface by means of screws included in the installation set or double-sided adhesive tape. The ZWK10 or ZWG3 controller can be also positioned in any place thanks to the fact that they are powered by 3V DC batteries.
