FAKRO design competition opened to architectural students for the first time

This year’s FAKRO International Design Competition - ‘Space for New Visions,’ will be open to architectural students for the first time. Now attracting entries from throughout the world, architects must produce a concept for the renovation of a public building while students are tasked with designing a residential project. Using FAKRO products innovatively, evidence must be provided of design practicality, energy-efficiency and sustainability.

The winning architect will receive 5,000 Euros, the runner up 3,000 and third place 2,000. The best two student projects will receive an AutoCad Revit licence and a visit to FAKRO Poland.

Closing date for entries is 12th September. http://tinyurl.com/hu794ez
