Installation
A universal installation system makes it possible to install the windows on rafters or battens at three depths. Flashing kits are available for all commonly used tile and slate profiles, are straightforward to fit and highly durable.
Accessories and glazing
FAKRO roof windows can be supplied with a choice of internal and external accessories and glazing options and can be routinely ordered in conservation style. We also have extensive experience of manufacturing bespoke window designs and can supply ancillary installation products such as vapour permeable roofing underlay, window linings and pine loft ladders.

Windows which are now manufactured using topSafe system provide one of the highest standard of safety ((minimum Class III – EN13049). TopSafe also hampers break-ins with the reinforcement system which is currently available only in FAKRO roof windows as standard equipment. All FAKRO roof windows are made using slow growing redwood pine which has a close grain and is guaranteed to be knot-free. The addition of an automatic V40P air inlet as standard also provides added value and performance. FAKRO also obtains timber for its FTP-V Centre Pivot and FPP preSelect® windows from FSC certified sources. The FTP-V centre pivot roof window was the first in the U.K to receive BBA certification.
