Fakro GB Ltd was established in July 2000 and based itself originally in Lichfield, just outside Birmingham.

In May 2005 Fakro GB Ltd purchased a modern state of the art Distribution Centre in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, where a complete range of windows, ladders and accessories are stored for immediate transportation to our distributors throughout the UK.

Fakro GB Ltd is committed to excellent customer service and is constantly reviewing its procedures, products and services to maintain the high standards we have set for ourselves and our customers.

To achieve and grow our customer services Fakro work with a small number of key partners who work closely with our company to meet the strict criteria required by us. These partners are vetted closely prior to being accepted into the Fakro GB family.

Whilst supplying our customers with quality product at reasonable prices in the safest and quickest way possible, is always foremost on our mind, our customers must also be aware that they have the support necessary if any unforeseen issues arise. Fakro GB Ltd employ nine Business Development Managers (BDM) covering the whole of the UK who have extensive experience and training in solving problems, supplying advice and general support when needed.
These BDM’S are further supported by the ‘Fakro Product Support & Service Division’ enabling us to resolve any installation problems or Technical issues that May arise.

I believe that our customers need not only the support of Fakro personnel on the ground but that they also need the information to be able to talk informatively to their customers and to this end Fakro Supply regular Technical Support Training sessions in our Training Centre in Swadlincote. Further, intensive training, if necessary, is undertaken in our HQ in Poland.

Achieving the highest possible standards in each country it operates in, has been the hallmark of Fakro companies worldwide. Fakro endeavour to meet the standards set by each country’s regulation test bodies (please refer to Certificates). In the UK Fakro is the only Roof window which has achieved the coveted BBA certificate. All Fakro products are from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved forests. FTPV windows have been tested by Warrington Fire Research and achieve an SAA fire rating. Fakro windows meet the standards set by the NHBC. Fakro loft ladders have been tested to BS en 131: Part 2.
