Why FAKRO roof windows look and perform to a higher standard? Our operating handles are positioned in the base of the sash so the sleek frames enable a considerably larger glazing area to be provided. The addition of an automatic V40P air inlet as standard also guarantees heat is not lost unnecessarily.
Windows which are now manufactured using topSafe system provide one of the highest standard of safety ((minimum Class III – EN13049). TopSafe also hampers break-ins with the reinforcement system which is currently available only in FAKRO roof windows as standard equipment. It prevents the timber from splitting, hinges being pulled out or the sash being broken.
Our FTP-V centre pivot roof window was the first in the U.K to receive BBA certification and the slow growing redwood pine we use in all windows provides a far higher standard of appearance. Much of the timber is also now from FSC certified sources.
