In skylights installed within easy reach, the handle can be replaced by a crank to make manual opening and closing of the skylight easier.
The control rod is designed for operating SFV Skylights in out-of-reach locations. The rod length can be adjusted to suit skylights at different heights. An added advantage is that the rod can be used to operate other manually controlled accessories.
